Il faut d’abord activer la fonction «MENU CACHE» à l’aide du VAGCOM:

Pour MMI 2G :

Uniquement pour voiture avec systeme de Navigation 

[07 - Control Head]

Canal 8 -> Changer 0 à 1

Pour MMI 3G :

[5F - Information Electr.]

[Adaptation - 10]

Canal 6 -> Changer 0 à 1

Il n’est pas nécessaire de redémarrer le MMI

Pour entrer dans le Menu caché du MMI:

Maintenir enfoncé simultanément les boutons « SETUP » + « CAR » pendant environ 6 secondes.

Pour le MMI 2G :

[07 - Control Head] (Head unit controller 07)

[Adaptation - 10]

chanel 8

mettre 1 au lieu de 0 (1=menu caché activé 0=menu caché désactivé).

sauvegarder (save)

Pour le MMI 3G :

1. control module 5F au VAG-COM/VCDS

2. “Adaptation – 10″

3. channel 6

4. mettre 1 comme valeur (je suppose 1 au lieu de 0 à l'origine)

5. appuyer sur test

6. appuyer sur save

7. Appuyer “Done, Go Back”, fermer le controlleur et quitter le logiciel

8. 8.Pas besoin de redémarrer le MMI appuyer sur SETUP + CAR pendant environ 6 seconds pour entrer dans le menu caché
   

Restart the MMI: Press and hold down the function keys 1 (Setup), the control button 2 and the control key at the top right 3 simultaneously until the MMI system shuts down. Release keys -> MMI system reboots.

Affichage du niveau de charge de la batterie dans le menu du MMI:

Il est possible d’afficher le niveau de batterie sur le MMI si la fonction n’est pas présente.

notamment suite à une mise à jour, la fonction disparait.

voici la manipulation à faire pour réactiver le niveau de batterie:

Aller dans le menue caché :

SETUP + CAR pendant 6 secondes

«DIAGS SETTINGS»,

«car menu Maske»,

affichage batterie et

accepter les modifications

First I am sorry for my not perfect English, but I hope you will understand.

1. Turn on MMI. Push CAR and SETUP together for cca 5 sec. (only CAR red light must shine, not both, if not repeat it)

2. You see green menu (picture 1 from left)

3. scroll to DIAG SETTING and push knob (picture 2)

4. find "Car menus maske" and push knob (picture 4)

5. find OILSTAND and push knob to check (picture 5)

6. scroll down to BATTERY LEVEL and push knob to check (picture 6)

7. scroll down to ACCEPT CHANGES and push knob

8. now press RETURN 3 or 4 times, you will be back in normal mode

9. turn MMI off for 5 minutes or make MMI restart - push together Setup + Control knob + upper right soft key around knob for 5 sec. (it works like Ctrl+Alt+Del, sad but true)

If point 1, CAR and SETUP, does not work, you should find someone who has VAG-COM (VCDS). Open Head unit controler (07) go to 10-Adaptation, chanel 8, test and save "1". This enable opening MMI coding menu.

If your OIL LEVEL line stay gray, you have wrong oil sensor, you should repeat procedure and uncheck OILSTAND in point 5 above. After MMI restart, OIL LEVEL will be missing.

You can also change standby picture - general MMI, S6, S5, S8, S4. Maybe next time, if someone will be interested.
